In such cases the advertiser is acting as a controller of the data for its own purposes.

Princess Perfect Weddings also runs other kinds of online ad campaigns on social networking websites and other non-Princess Perfect Weddings websites and apps. Some of these ads may be based on information we have about users. Princess Perfect Weddings has its headquarters in the United States and the information we collect will be processed in the U.S. The United States has not sought nor received a finding of "adequacy" from the European Union under Article 45 of the GDPR.
