Services

The One Destination Company d/b/a Princess Perfect Weddings ("PPW") will perform coordination services for your wedding or other similar ceremony (i) onboard a Princess ship at sea or harborside or (ii) ashore at a chosen Princess port or location. The services will be provided in accordance with our published list of services chosen by the Couple and confirmed by Princess Cruise Lines, Ltd. ("Princess") via the Princess Perfect Weddings website. PPW can arrange most of the services typically offered for land weddings; however, there are limitations onboard a cruise ship and at some of the ports of call. Add-on upgrades or enhancements should be ordered and paid in full as soon as possible due to the limited availability of some services but must be booked no later than 60 days prior to sailing. All wedding package inclusions (flower colors, cake flavors, music etc. must be selected at least 60 days prior to sailing or default options will automatically be selected. The Couple understands and agrees that the wedding package and this Agreement do not cover the cruise bookings.

Ceremony Times and Locations

Ceremonies at sea are performed in international waters by the ship's captain under the authority of the law of Bermuda and are recognized under this law as valid marriages. The particulars of the ceremony as required by Bermudan law will be documented in the ship's logbook and filed with the office of the Registrar General located in Hamilton, Bermuda. If the Couple has any questions about the effect of being married under Bermuda Law, they should consult their own legal advisors.

PPW has identified several locations onboard which would be appropriate for the ceremony and reception, as applicable. Times and locations are determined based on the number of guests attending, location availability, length of reception and entertainment requests.

PPW will work with Princess' Events & Guest Services Supervisor onboard the ship to identify venue and time options the wedding Couple can choose from. Any alternate or custom venue requests will be requested with the ship and additional charges may apply. Ceremony date will be confirmed at the time of booking. The ceremony location will be confirmed within 30 days of the scheduled sail date. Itinerary, ceremony day, time and location may be delayed or moved by PPW or Princess at any point before or during the cruise due to unforeseen events. PPW will make every effort to honor specific requests for locations, dates and times, however in the event a change becomes necessary PPW and Princess will work with the Couple to identify and select an alternative location, day or time.

Legal wedding ceremonies off the ship require a local marriage license from the location of the wedding and must be obtained a minimum of 60 days prior to sail date, as well as a local officiant to perform the ceremony.

Cancellations for Unforeseen Circumstances

Should the ceremony need to be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, for example the ship's itinerary is changed to be delayed or not call on the port intended for the ceremony, including without limitation, an act of god, fire, or other catastrophe, electronical, computer or mechanical failure, work stoppage or any other incident, act of occasion beyond PPW's and/or Princess' reasonable control, the total package price will be not be refunded, but PPW and Princess will work with the Couple to provide as much of the package components as reasonably possible, including a symbolic ceremony at sea.

Marriage License

If the appropriate documents and applications are not submitted 60 days prior to sailing, there will be a $250 late fee assessed. The Couple is responsible for verifying that all documents are correct. Any errors in the documents may result in additional fees. Requests for additional copies of the marriage license can be provided for an additional cost. The cost of the marriage license for At Sea weddings can be changed without notice and may differ from the cost reflected in previous marketing pieces distributed by Princess or PPW. The souvenir wedding certificate provided to the Couple onboard may not be used as an official document nor as evidence of marriage. The office of the Registrar General located in Hamilton, Bermuda will issue the official marriage certificate, which will be mailed to the designated address approximately 12-18 weeks after the ceremony via standard shipping.

U.S. Customs

Any optional ceremony gifts the Couple requests to bring onboard and take off the ship at disembarkation will be subject to U.S. Customs duty fees. The Couple shall make alternate arrangements to have gifts delivered to their home(s).

Special Note

Outside professional services (Photography, Videography, Entertainment, Cakes, Beverages, Fresh Flowers, etc.) are not permitted. For specific requests or custom services, PPW will work with the Couple and Princess to accommodate on a case-by-case basis. Any onboard package purchased outside of the wedding services, including but not limited to Princess Plus and Princess Premier, are not applicable for wedding and vow renewal ceremonies and receptions and do not include beverages and photography services for wedding and vow renewal ceremonies and receptions.

Floral Upgrades

All packages include two (2) fresh floral pieces (bouquets or boutonnieres). Additional floral arrangements or upgrades can only be requested through PPW. If the Couple would like to bring their own flowers, they must be silk due to U.S. Department of Agriculture restrictions. Please note that due to U.S. Department of Agriculture regulations, the Couple may or may not be able to disembark with fresh flowers.

Photographer

Only the photography services and products described in the purchased wedding package are included unless otherwise specified. Additional photo packages may be purchased separately, and Couples should work with PPW to discuss upgrade packages and pricing.

Payments

100% of the package price with applicable tax is due at time of booking, along with this signed Agreement. Once PPW has received both the package price and this Agreement, the ceremony booking will be confirmed, with written confirmation to be sent to the Couple. All payments are in USD. Visa, MasterCard, Amex, ACH or money wires are acceptable methods of payment. Prices for packages and add-on upgrades or enhancements are subject to change without notice. Once the Couple has paid for the requested services, the price will not change unless cancelled and rebooked at a future time when the rate has updated. Several of the services contracted on the Couple's behalf, such as transportation, onboard venues, musicians, and photographers are contracted on a time basis. If these times are exceeded, PPW reserves the right to charge for any additional costs incurred and will charge the additional amounts to the credit card on file or the onboard folio. Refunds are not guaranteed for any changes made within 60 days prior to sailing date. If any changes are made within this timeframe, the Couple may forfeit funds paid.

Cancellation Policy

Notice of cancellation shall be made in writing to PPW through the Couple's account on the Princess Perfect Weddings website. Cancellations at least 60 days prior to the ceremony date will receive a full refund of any monies paid, less $500 USD non-refundable administrative fee and non-refundable third-party costs. Cancellations made less than 60 days prior to the date of the ceremony will forfeit the full package price and any add-ons or enhancements purchased in conjunction with the package.

Disclaimer

It is acknowledged and agreed that PPW and Princess and their respective employees, agents, or contractors shall not be liable, and expressly disclaim all responsibility in the event a scheduled ceremony cannot take place or is delayed due to circumstances beyond the control of PPW and Princess. In the event of strikes, lockouts, riots, weather conditions, mechanical difficulties or for any reason whatsoever ("Force Majeure Event"), Princess may at any time and without prior notice cancel, advance, postpone or deviate from any scheduled sailing or port of call. PPW will not be responsible for any delay in, or failure of, performance under this Agreement where such delay or failure is caused by Force Majeure Event. In the event that the ship will not be in international waters on its original scheduled date due to weather conditions or other unforeseen events, PPW and Princess will make every attempt to reschedule the ceremony for another day while at sea or schedule a symbolic ceremony either onboard the ship or in another port of call. If this is not possible, and all arrangements must be cancelled, Couples will be refunded the cost of their ceremony and reception minus the $500 USD non-refundable administration fee and non-refundable third-party costs. Fees for marriage licenses are non-refundable. It is further acknowledged and agreed that any claim under this Agreement must be commenced within six (6) months from the scheduled date of the ceremony. It is agreed between parties that Arizona law shall govern this agreement and that all disputes and/or claims arising under this Agreement shall be litigated in Maricopa County, Arizona to the exclusion of any other jurisdictions. It is acknowledged and agreed that PPW and/or Princess reserves the right to withdraw or suspend the wedding program at any time, or to cancel a ceremony in its sole discretion. In the event of such cancellation, Princess and PPW's sole liability will be to repay up to 100% of the package price paid by the Couple.
